This movie was cancelled in early 2001 (i think) but does anyone know who was going to play James Bond in it?
Timothy Dalton?

And the whole deal started again around 1998, not 2001...that was just the slated release date

It would just've been another Thunderball rip-off. I am opposed to that.

Yes but McClory was more keen on having Connery come back again. I believe, they were saying that if the movie had been able to have been made
Connery was on board.
I'd rather go hunting with Dick Cheney than driving with Ted Kennedy!

That just shows that Mc Clory was an even bigger idiot than I thought, having Connery return when he was like 70 or something that's just
idioce.

Well, all I know is that I would've definitely seen it, even if Connery was 68.

Even though it would've been another TB remake, I would've gone to see it, just to see what changed.
